Finish – Stop Procrastinating and Finish Your Tasks

Total Score:  29.5

Finish is a procrastinator’s dream – well, if your dream is to finish things.  This app allows you to see your short-term, mid-term and long-term tasks at a glance.  This app helps you stay focused on what you committed to work on during a certain time and still keeps what’s coming up visible.  You might gather from my app reviews that I have a lot of tasks and I struggle to keep up with them.  That would be completely accurate. I have tried a lot of productivity, to-do type apps and now, Finish is my go to app.

Total Score:  29.5

I am a list maker, and my iPhone and iPad have certainly added to my ability to keep track of things, but when I found this specialized travel checklist I knew I found something that would be a must-have for organizing my travel experiences.   I am not an adventurous traveler, so if I forget anything I can usually replace it at a local store.  All I face is an inconvenience and a loss of time.  But what if the thing I forgot was something that was critical to the experience – like a special dress for a wedding.  That can move forgetting something from an inconvenience to a major disappointment.  Don’t let that happen, let the Essential Travel Checklist for iPhone and iPad help you keep track of everything you want to do before you go and everything you want to take with you.   Continue reading

Over 40+ Magnifier and Flashlight

Total Score:  28.5

I can’t believe it took me so long to find Over 40+ Magnifier and Flashlight.   It isn’t often when I find an app that makes me say, “I wish I had thought of that.”  This is certainly one of those times.  In a nutshell, this app magnifies text (or objects) and turns on the flashlight to help you see.  How simple is that?  You can easily think of a number of uses like reading fine print on labels or reading menus in dark restaurants.  I can’t wait to find more ways to use it.   Continue reading

Remember The Milk and a Whole Lot More

Total Score: 28

I have used a number of the reminder type apps and up until now haven’t found one that meets all of my needs. This app may be the one I have been searching for.  I’ll go into all the details below, but Remember the Milk has a couple of things that I like.  I know it may be shallow, but I like my reminder app to be attractive – and this one is.  You can easily organize your tasks by day, week month and not just one list.   I suppose it’s not important, but I love the icon! One of the necessities of life is a flashlight when you need it.  Can you picture yourself in any of these situations?  Have you ever been at a door and the light is unexpectedly out and you need to find the key hole?
