This app is pretty straightforward. You enter your height in feet and inches (there is an option to switch to metric) and your weight and click the Calculate BMI button. A scale appears below your information that lets you know where you fit from underweight to obese. Your goal, of course, is to be in the normal range.
This app, along with one of the food logging apps can be a great tool to reach or remain at a healthy weight.
There is an info button at the bottom right of the screen. Clicking it takes you to a little information about the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute and offers you a link to their website.
Devices: This app can be used on either the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. It requires iOS 3,2 or later. App developed by National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute.
